Here’s the skinny…

Perspective, emotion, action, and heaping of imagination, are what runs through my mind when I click the shutter button to capture an image. As a photographer, I venture where life takes me, fueled by passion and always looking for the details.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Elmira College, and a good twenty years later began my photography education, spent four years at Project Basho in Philadelphia, focused on Fine Art and Portraiture. Then, attended lecture series at the International Center for Photography in New York. I consider myself a ‘forever student’ and continue to enroll in courses/workshops that pique my interest and curiosity.

The most recent course taken, from the Film Stills Academy, has relit an enormous fire of passion and love for the film industry. With a few Independent films under my belt, I continue to pursue this niche of photography as a Unit Stills Photographer.

I am motivated to capture a moment in time. To freeze it, make it timeless, to reveal something about myself and the emotions I felt at that moment. My adrenaline fires up for a challenge, catapulting me out of my comfort zone. I am inspired to create an image that is the true nature of my subject, and to capture that connection.

I reside in Lansdale, PA, about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia and enjoy the vibrancy of a small town. Evening walks, kicking back on my front porch, or off on an adventure chasing daylight.
